Bubbles!

In case you can't tell from the previous posts, I am on a spree tonight! I could have written one massive, pic-loaded post, but was too lazy to try and make it cohesive. Three separate posts sounded a lot nicer!

Once I got the first coat of paint on in the office, we had a quick lunch and then went outside to run around for a bit. The kids needed the fresh air, and fresh it was! Hovering right around freezing, it was very chilly indeed. It was beautiful outside, though. Bright blue skies and hardly a cloud in sight! And once we were out in the sunshine and running around, it felt quite a bit warmer. My hands started to get numb, though, even with gloves on. So we didn't stay out too long!

As silly as it sounds, the kids wanted to play with bubbles today. So we did! Why not, right? They chased them all over the yard while wearing their mittens and hats. It was such a funny sight! But they really enjoyed themselves, and were out-of-breath and rosy-cheeked when we came back in. They do have plenty of room in the house to run around like crazy people, but it's just different to be outside. So I try to get them out and run them around for a bit at least once a day, unless the weather is really awful. And it was nice that they didn't have to wear their snow boots or anything. As you can see, it's almost entirely melted in our back yard.

The rest of our afternoon consisted of cleaning up, dealing with some potty training regression (ugh) and wrapping it all up with family movie night on the sleeper sofa. Let the weekend begin!
