Greece: Day 7

I forgot! On our way back from Tolo the day before, we stopped at a store (a chain store that was more reasonably-priced) to look at suits for Maya. We picked up a Barbie bikini. They had exactly two swimsuits in her size-- this Barbie one, and another one that really looked WAY too mature for a 4-year-old (ugh!). She was very excited to put it on and go swimming on our seventh day in Greece, though!
So, we went swimming. Maya invented a game called "Adventures with My-My," where we'd push her around in her floatie to various places (usually restaurants), and she would make us pretend food and whatnot. It was so funny and silly-- words don't really capture the cuteness that was Adventures with My-My. I loved it!
Niko, relaxing on the front porch after a swim... He needs a haircut!
Later on, after lunch, we went to get coffee and ice cream at the little cafe right next to our apartment. It was so nice to sit with a view of the beach and enjoy some delicious refreshments!
Just beyond the cafe was a nice little playground, so we let the kids play there for a bit, too
Later that evening (and I have no recollection of where dinner fits into all this), we ran into theia Litsa, papou's-cousin's-wife. She showed up with bait and announced that it was time for the kids to go fishing with her! They had been really shy around her before, but they very quickly warmed up-- both to her and the idea of fishing! They didn't get so much as a nibble, and their patience expired before long, but it was fun nonetheless! Litsa speaks very little English (just a few words), but they all got along nonetheless!
