I had to share this one of the kiddos playing this afternoon. It was kind of a rough day, actually. Maya was cranky, Nikos refused to nap, and meltdowns were had all around. And after spending most of the day attempting to clean/declutter the house, we needed to get outside.
The kids were fine playing with the various toys out there, but it was hot... a perfect day to play with our water table! Maya had actually never played with it before, since it had grown some truly spectacular scum and was sitting, abandoned, in our side yard.
With the help of a good scrubber sponge and a hose with a strong spray nozzle, I managed to get it cleaned up pretty quickly (who knew?). And they had a BLAST. Guess what we'll be doing for the rest of the summer? :)
