Checking In...

So, it's been a while since I posted. Ironically, the main reason is because I've been working on the third volume of my blog book! I'm taking all the posts from January 2011 to the present and formatting them into a giant Word document (and yes, that is the only way to handle something so large. The online blog-to-book services make my book over 1500 pages long!!). I'm 267 pages in so far, and I've made it up to March 9th, 2012. Yeah... It's no small task. It takes forever. And then I think of something new to post about, and it's like "Really? I want to give myself MORE work??" So I don't. But I am giving in now, because pictures are piling up!

Without further ado... We went to the Ecotarium last weekend. They have a new exhibit about how scientists work, sponsored by a pharmaceutical company. It was fun! And here are the pictures!

Niko has still been enjoying karate. I had hoped to be able to post a picture of him in his gi (uniform), but it hasn't come in yet. It was supposed to arrive at the sensei's house yesterday, but it didn't. Maybe next week! In the meantime, here's a quick video of him doing some moves earlier this week. :) Yesterday, Maya had a Thanksgiving Feast at preschool. They started by singing a few songs: And then we ate!

It was a lot of fun! Today is Friday, and it's raining, and little girl is currently at preschool. I am reading to Niko's class in the library again this afternoon. Life is good, just busy! And Thanksgiving is next week! EEK!
